Sachi Koide

Sachi Koide is a yonsei who studied biological engineering at Cornell University and works for a medical device design startup in San Diego as a Design Engineer. She also serves as the co-leader of Nikkei Rising, where she assists in podcast production. She has really enjoyed exploring her Japanese heritage and identity as a young adult after growing up relatively isolated from this side of her culture, and is looking forward to more opportunities to connect with the Nikkei Community. She also spends all her free time rock climbing, running, and road-tripping, and is a volunteer at the San Diego Zoo.
